Amazon pioneer Jeff Bezos reported late Thursday that he intends to pass on Seattle and move to Miami.
Bezos established Amazon in 1994, then a web-based book retailer, out of the carport of his rental home in a Seattle suburb.
Bezos said the move will permit him to be nearer to his folks, accomplice Lauren Sanchez and his space organization Blue Beginning.
